Prepare yourselves for a fun and informative half day tour taking in four local award winning breweries. You will be able to sample some of the finest naturally brewed beers Nelson has to offer and see behind-the-scenes processes from the raw ingredients to finished product.

The tour starts at Founders Organic Brewery where your will enjoy your complimentary ploughmans platter with organic beers and will introduce you to traditional methods of brewing. From here you will head to Tasman Bay Brewery in nearby Richmond for a tour of their brewery. Bays Brewery in Tahunanui as the next port of call.. Finally you visit the small but highly acclaimed Lighthouse Brewery in the city centre.

JJ's Quality Tours offers a door to door service in their comfortable air-conditioned buses.

	Harrington's Brewery Harrington's Nelson are brewing 16 different ales and lagers, ranging from light lagers through to the stout chosen to make the ale for "Lord of the Rings" All their beers are free from added sugars, artificial flavouring and colouring.
	Bay's Brewery This award winning brewery produces naturally brewed beers without chemicals, preservatives or sugar. They also produce an alchoholic lemonade and a traditional dry cider. Bays is the home of Gold Lager, judged NZ Best Lager 2003/2004.
	Founders Brewery Cafe and Bar This Champion Small Brewery is the first Certified Organic Brewery in New Zealand. The Duncan family (6th generation Nelson brewers) produce four award winning beers: Tall Blonde, Redhead, Long Black and Generation Ale. On site cafe.
	Lighthouse Brewery Dick Tout operates the smallest legal brewery in New Zealand. Using Nelson's finest hops, he produces a Light Pilsner, a Dark Ale and a classic full bodied Black Stout. Lighthouse Brewery is a consistant medal winner.
